It's Time To Act
If you are looking at joining the club or renewing your membership then it's time to do it now. Mountain Bike Australia are increasing their membership fees as of the 1st Jan
Please read below:
At the last MTBA Management Committee meeting the committee agreed to raise membership fees for the first time in 6 years. The new fees, which will take effect from January 1 2009, are as follows:
Senior: $90 plus club fee
Junior: $65 plus club fee
Recreational: $45 (plus club fee if applicable)
CA and BMXA value-add to MTBA: $45
The MTBA Management Committee has been working hard to keep membership fees at a realistic level and understood that a fee increase may have an impact on our members. However the Management Committee was also mindful that the previous fee had not even kept pace with inflation for the previous 6 years, and that with the impending establishment of a National Director for IMBA Australia - funded by MTBA - a fee increase was felt to be justified.
